Barrier-free E-recruitment: Recruiting Disabled People Online

Partners

The Employers' Forum on Disability would like to take this opportunity to thank the organisations which have contributed so much to our e-recruitment initiative.

McKinsey & Company provided the initial detailed analysis into the e-recruitment process and barriers facing disabled people, identifying solutions and mapping out the business case for action.

Macromedia, in association with The Employers' Forum on Disability, produced the White Paper, 'Making E-recruitment Barrier-free for People with Disabilities', which for the first time provides technical guidance on how to construct an accessible e-recruitment site.

Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations , responsible for much of the American research around e-recruitment barriers for disabled job-seekers, has provided invaluable feedback on this guidance.

The Forum was assisted by a number of its Gold Card core-funder members, who have come together in a Learning Network to provide strategic guidance and practical feedback. Members included Barclays, BBC, BT, Goldman Sachs, London Development Agency, Royal Bank of Scotland as well as the Civil Service Fast Stream.

The London Development Agency has generously supported the production of this website and accompanying publication Barrier-free E-recruitment: Recruiting Disabled People Online.

We would also like to particularly thank the individuals who made contributions and gave advice during the production of barrierfree-recruitment.com.
